Inera at the First SfEP and SI Joint Conference

Inera is delighted to participate in the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) and Society for Indexers (SI) first joint conference, which will be held September 5-7 in York, UK. The SfEP and SI provide professional support to their nearly 2,400 members across the UK. At this event, Dr. Robin Dunford will host both an XML session and an Edifix workshop. The Edifix workshop will highlight the advantages Edifix can provide to freelancers, including increased efficiency and income potential. Read More


Inera and CrossRef Win Top Prize at the NEPCo Awards

We are delighted to announce that Inera, in collaboration with CrossRef, took first place at the New England Publishing Collaboration (NEPCo) Awards on October 21 in Cambridge, MA. The NEPCo Awards highlighted achievements by two or more organizations working as partners, with at least one collaborator having a presence in New England. Inera's submission discussed its 14-year partnership with CrossRef, highlighting the creation of the CrossRef metadata schema, the integration of Inera's automated software testing and CrossRef's quality assurance procedures, and the adoption and expansion of the DOI standard throughout the scholarly publishing community. The 9th Annual eXtyles User Group Meeting (XUG) was held at the Sheraton Commander in Cambridge, MA, on November 14 and 15, 2013.
