Welcome to the demonstration version of eXtyles, the premier integrated suite of editorial and XML tools for Microsoft Word. eXtyles molds Word content into your standard editorial and visual style and exports Word documents to XML. This demonstration version has been built to show the capabilities of eXtyles for scientific, technical, and medical (STM) publishing.
The Inera team understands that every organization has unique editorial and XML requirements. We will work with you to create the eXtyles configuration that best serves the specific needs of your organization.

Q: Where can I find documentation about running the demo version?
A: After you complete installation, please look in the directory c:\Program Files\eXtyles\Documentation for the eXtyles STM Documentation and Read Me files.
Q: What files can I process with the demo version?
A: You can process any file with the demo version that can be read by Microsoft Word.
Q: Why are my changes in the Auto-Redact dialogs ignored?
A: The dictionaries for the sample solutions in the demo are fixed. Changes that you make to the dictionaries or their active state in the Auto-Redact dialogs are not saved, nor are they applied to the document. No warning is given that these changes are not kept or applied when you use these dialogs.
Q: Why doesn't PubMed Reference Checking work on my system?
A: PubMed Reference Checking requires an Internet connection. In addition, if you have a proxy server, eXtyles must be configured for it. For more information, please contact us at eXtyles-sales@inera.com.
Q: How can I customize eXtyles to show my Word template?
A: We would be delighted to discuss your organization's specific styling and formatting needs.
Please contact us at eXtyles-sales@inera.com to learn more about setup and customization of eXtyles.
