Inera and Overleaf – working together to improve the author writing experience

Overleaf, an innovative provider of scientific writing and publishing tools and Inera, provider of the eXtyles and Edifix family of editorial and XML solutions, announce a partnership to improve the author writing experience by helping authors easily structure, correct and then upload and use their bibliographies while writing.

Authors who use BibTeX can easily create their BibTeX bibliography files using Edifix and then upload those files to Overleaf. Overleaf authors can find a link to the Edifix service from within their Overleaf account – in the ‘Journals and Services’ menu. Edifix will allow authors to effortlessly structure, format and correct their bibliography files – providing BibTeX as an option for output. These BibTeX files can then be uploaded to the author’s Overleaf document, where it allows authors to conveniently manage references within the document, as the author writes.>

This new integration, how each service works and the benefits to authors is discussed in detail in the Overleaf blog post: Edifix Converts Unstructured Bibliographies to BibTeX.
